We got in the holiday spirit today practicing Christmas songs for caroling in December and we upcycled donated floor tiles to make lovely decorations/coasters to give out to residents when we carol.

Meeting #6: 11-02-2016
Today we prepared for next week's Veteran's Day parade. We made felt handprints for a banner girls can carry, along with paper banners to hang on the float--decorated with painted hand prints. Girls thanked veterans for their service and for giving the girls the opportunity to become anything they want to be. Girls even found a few minutes to decorate Halloween and Thanksgiving cards :)
